Method TryParseDouble

Namespace
SodaFlow.Functional
Assembly
SodaFlow.Functional.dll

TryParseDouble(string?)

Parses a double from this string, if it holds one.

[Pure]
public static Maybe<double> TryParseDouble(this string? value)

Parameters

value string

The string to parse. A null string gives no value.

Returns

Maybe<double>

A Maybe<T> containing the parsed value, and one containing no value if value does not hold one.

Remarks

Wraps TryParse(string, out double), so this reads NumberStyles.Float | NumberStyles.AllowThousands in the current culture. Use TryParseDouble(string?, NumberStyles, IFormatProvider) to say otherwise.

TryParseDouble(string?, NumberStyles, IFormatProvider)

Parses a double from this string in the given style and culture, if it holds one.

[Pure]

Parameters

value string

styles NumberStyles

The number styles permitted in value.

provider IFormatProvider

The formatting information of the culture to read with.

Returns

Maybe<double>

A Maybe<T> containing the parsed value, and one containing no value if value does not hold one.
