Method Value
- Namespace
- SodaFlow
- Assembly
- SodaFlow.dll
Value<T>(Behavior<T>)
A stream that always fires one time at the start of the listener. That firing gives the current value of a behavior, and each firing after it gives an update or step.
public static Stream<T> Value<T>(Behavior<T> b)
Parameters
bBehavior<T>The behavior to monitor.
Returns
- Stream<T>
A stream which fires the current value in the transaction of this call, and then the updated value on each change.
Type Parameters
TThe type of the values in the behavior.
Remarks
This is an OPERATIONAL primitive, which is not part of the primary SodaFlow API. It breaks the property of non-detectability of behavior steps/updates. The rule with this primitive is to use it only in functions that do not let the caller see the behavior updates.
